A compact, tour‑inspired low spin driver that delivers penetrating, straight ball flight with surprising forgiveness and extensive adjustability. High ball speeds and a stable profile make it an attractive option for better players who want control without surrendering usable distance.

The Cobra OPTM LS Driver is a player focused, low spin head that prioritises control and stability while still producing strong ball speeds. Its compact, tour shaped profile and reduced point of inertia deliver a workability that appeals to better players who want to shape shots and keep dispersion tight. Despite the low spin bias, the design brings a level of forgiveness uncommon in traditional LS models so misses stay much more playable than expected.

Cobra loads the OPTM LS with fitting features. Multiple weight ports and the FUTUREFIT33 hosel permit fine tuning of launch and face angle, while a forged hot face promotes consistent smash factors across the face. That adjustability helps dial out a fade bias for players chasing a straighter or draw tilting flight and allows the head to be tailored for a range of swing speeds and attack angles.

Performance testing shows the OPTM LS produces penetrating ball flight and very consistent dispersion. Centre strikes generate impressive ball speed and carry, while toe and heel misses retain stability and distance. It is not positioned as the absolute longest driver on the market; ball speed tends to sit around the mid pack versus distance-focused heads, but the trade off is cleaner, more controllable ball flight and lower spin in the low 2000s for many setups.

Aesthetically the OPTM LS leans premium with a high gloss crown and compact silhouette that some will love and others may find polarising. The crown finish can show wear with use. Overall this is a sophisticated, tuneable low spin option for better players who prioritise accuracy, feel and adjustability while still wanting usable distance and forgiving performance on off center strikes.
